Jennifer Esposito is the owner of First Roots Music.  She has been inspired by music since she was a young child when she sang and danced along to her parent's records in the living room.

In high school she was involved in choir and band.  She taking private trumpet lessons with Jim Sakofsky and was accepted into Montclair State University for the Music Education program.  During her time there, she was involved in many instrumental ensembles and chorus.  She took a classes to learn to play the guitar.  She was so inspired by that guitar class that she purchased her first guitar, a BLUE Ibanez Acoustic Electric Guitar.  She graduated with a BA in Music Education in 2002.

 

For several years she taught in the public schools before starting her own family.  With her own chidren she took many parent/child classes before deciding to offer Kindermusik.  Jennifer became a licensed Kindermusik teacher in 2011.  She has offered her classes throughout Somerset County.

After teaching Kindermusik for several years, she began to write her own children's music and design her own classes.  This is how First Roots, LLC came to life.  She wanted to provide families with classes, original children's music, fun videos on youtube, preschool and library programs, parties, performances and more.

 

Her ultimate goal is to foster early music development in young children through a hand-on, fun and entertaining experience.
